A Message from Dr. Karl Kramer Director, School of Music, University of Illinois

As of July 1, 2011, the Bulletin of the Council for Research in Music Education is transitioning to a new production process at the University of Illinois Press. This transition will allow the Bulletin to take advantage of the newest and most up-to-date practices in academic journal publishing. New procedures for submissions and subscription information will appear on this website as they beome available.

In addition to our production transition to the UI Press, I want to announce that Dr. Greg DeNardo will be stepping down as editor, and Dr. Eve Harwood will be taking over as interim editor also on July 1st. The School of Music thanks Dr. DeNardo for his ten years of service as editor of the Bulletin. During his tenure, he put the Bulletin on firm financial footing and assisted in moving the Bulletin into the digital age.

We look forward to ushering in the new production process and welcome Dr. Harwood, Associate Professor Emerita, in her new role as interim editor of the Bulletin.
